The Community Engagement Specialist will join a multi-faceted team including COVID Community Coordinators (CCCs), Community Engagement Director, Social Services Specialist, Faith Community Health Program Coordinator, volunteers, community organizations, outside agencies and the Church's Parish Council whose mission in this project is to:
• Create more relevant and impactful community engagement programs and content and
• Find resources and connect the diverse community members impacted by COVID -19 and related life hardships.
This is a part-time position (0.5 FTE) which may require working on some Saturdays and Sundays; generally scheduled within Monday thru Friday (8-4:30pm).

The Social Service Specialist/Social Worker provides intensive social work services to families with complex post pandemic situations requiring individualized, comprehensive, culturally competent assessment, service planning, referral/linkage, monitoring, and advocacy.
A knowledge base of persistent mental illness, socio economic situation, post COVID-19 sequelae, and related community resources is preferred. This position is a part of an interdisciplinary team assisting individuals in connecting resources for community members experiencing socio economic impact from COVID 19, medical and mental health disparities in the targeted community. Support community members who meet the established criteria in getting transportation to vaccination sites by providing bus tokens, ride share reimbursement, etc.
This is a part-time position (0.5 FTE) which may require working on some Saturdays and Sundays; generally scheduled within Monday thru Friday (8-4:30pm).

This is a 10hr/week position which requires understanding and execution of TAKS' Accounting procedures.

Program Director -- COVID Community Coordinator

Duration: 3 month [Oct until Dec. 31, 2020] with potential to extend into 2021 based on grant availability.
We are seeking for an experienced and enthusiastic program director who will plan and implement the day-to-day operation of Covid Community Coordinators, ensure policy and procedures are followed, work as content expert on Covid-19, communicate with MDH and stakeholders gaps in community needs, evaluate programs and write reports to MDH. This is a full-time position which requires working from Monday to Friday (with occational weekend coverage).
